AVAILABLE NOW £350.00 + VAT The 485S2 can convert unbalanced, full oe half-duplex RS232 signals to balanced, full or half-duplex RS485 signals, at Baud rates up to 115.2 kbps over 4000 feet of twisted pair or coax. Dual com port options allow the unit to be used in applications where uplink and downlink signals are at different Baud rates - without the requirement for microprocessor manipulation. The unit optically isolates at 2000v, protecting surface control equipment in the event of umbilical failure or seperation. |

| The unit is small and lightweight, thanks to the removal of a bulky 24v test power supply. Standard jacks are provided on the top of the unit to allow short cable tests from a regular bench power supply - if required. | ||
